The church started from the parlor of the Presiding Minister in March 2003 with the name Word Foundation (Tower) Church. On 28th March, 2004, the Church was formally inaugurated at A199B, then DC Market in Phase 4, Kubwa, Abuja, with seven persons in attendance. The starting of this denomination group was borne out of inspiration and fulfilment of the revelation received since 1995 and to give effect to God divine direction and his will for his kingdom on earth. Within a year, the numerical strength of the Church rose from 7 to 54, with the exhibition of God’s wondrous and mighty works in the mist of his Children. This steady growth was maintained until 2006, when the market was demolished and all the members scattered.
In 2009, after much search, the Church was registered as Scripture Foundation Ministry by CAC. Since then, the Church has grown spiritually and materially with a permanent place for worship acquired at Plot 925A Chikakore Layout in 2009 with development starting from 2010. To date we have additional two branches in Ekpri Obutong, Bakassi LGA of Cross River State, and Dutse Makaranta, Bwari Area Council of FCT, Abuja.
The awesome power of God demonstrated through his word has sustained our faith in his calling and the responsibility He has placed on our shoulder. There have been wonderful testimonies of God’s mercies, deliverance, breaking of yokes of Satan, healing and blessing of the fruit of the womb which has removed the reproach from the hitherto named barren in the mist of God’s children – to the glory of God. He has also strengthened our evangelism arm for his kingdom and improved our capacity to teach the word without fear, contradiction and compromise. If Christ tarries to come, we planned to expand the frontiers of the gospel beyond our current locations and to the uttermost part of the Earth.
