Total Freedom
The word of God no doubt provide the only enduring solution to mankind problem. We are in a turbulent world where mankind is constantly facing various challenges that make life seems unbearable. There is war everywhere – war within and war without. There is deceit in the family, in the Church and in the community and fighting persist because of inordinate lust for wealth and pleasure (James 4: 1). The scenario present the world as a theatre of war.
Ever since the fall of man in the garden of Eden due to the sin of disobedience recorded in Genesis 3: 16-17, the world has shifted from the original plan of God. Thence, God said to the woman “I will greatly multiply your sorrow”, and to the man – “cursed be the ground for thy sake, in sorrow shall you eat of it”. This is true today. Living in the world is not easy. There are trouble and human depravation such as hunger, poverty, sickness and diseases, affliction and depression, and even death. Nevertheless, God’s word promises deliverance and rest to all who received his word and abide by it.
In Matthew 11: 28, Jesus says “Come unto me all you that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest”. Until you received God words into your life, you will never know real peace. Isaiah 57: 21 states that there is no peace for the wicked. Outside Christ, you have tribulation and disappointment. However, Jesus said, be of good cheer, I have overcome the world (John 16: 33). He further says that when you know him – the truth, you are set free (John 8: 32. My friend, planting God’s word in your heart is the beginning of lasting freedom and peace.
Beloved friend, you need undivided faith in God’s word today. You need the word that guarantees your deliverance and rest for your soul. The word of God is all you need to achieve peace in this turbulent world. John 3: 16 states “for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believe in him will not perish but have eternal life”. You must believe God’s word and forsake all your evil ways, and return to Him for pardon and forgiveness – (Isaiah 55: 7). When you do this in obedient to his word, he will sent his word to heal you and deliver you from all destruction and bondage – (Psalm 107: 20). Satan the Devil is your real enemy. He controls the present world system and deceives men to disobey God. His wicked mission is to steal, kill and destroy your life and happiness. But Jesus came to give you life in abundance – (John 10: 10). He wishes you to prosper and be in good health (3 John 1: 2). Truly, Jesus came to destroy all the works of the Devil (1 John 3: 8).
Accept Jesus into your life today. Trust Him and obey his word every day of your life and your victory over sin and other life-challenges are guaranteed. Jesus Christ gave his life for the consequences of your sin. His blood made atonement for your sin. He is ever willing that you should not perish. He is willing to secure your freedom and to help you, heal you and give you new life and hope no matter your situation today. Friend, there is hope (Job 14: 7-9; Habakkuk 3: 17-19). Obadiah 1: 17 states that “Upon mount Zion (God’s House), there shall be deliverance and holiness and the House of Jacob shall possess their possession”. These are true promises of God. He is able to fulfill them in your life.
Why not come to Jesus today? Come, he will receive you. Open the door of your heart to Him now. We pray that as you prayerfully read these few lines and meditate upon the word of God in the stated passages, that God will transform your life, grant you peace and total freedom.
Please pray this simple prayer: God, I thank you for giving your son to come and die to secure my freedom despite the turbulence in the world. Give me the grace to know him personally so that I can enjoy this gift and the accompanied blessings in Jesus name – amen.
